As soon as my eyes opened this morning I knew two things. One, I had overslept on Monday. Two, I HAD to see HER today. Well, it wasn’t Monday, but I did oversleep. I didn’t know what was on her agenda, but I knew I had therapy. Surely we could work something out?!? I rushed to work and waited for her text so I could see if there was any way we could meet. She said we could. As soon as therapy was over this morning, I was on my way to see her.
The past four days not getting to talk to her had been grueling. I ached for her. All of that was made better when I walked into her office. I got my complete fix when we got out of there and she held me in her arms. Later, when she was dropping me back off at my car, it occurred to me how unconventional our love story is.
People have often made comments and judgements about the way we work. We do what we have to for my kids and for the situation we have put ourselves in. Maybe it’s wrong but it’s the only thing we know to do. We have both tried walking away….and neither of us can. So we take what we can get. Ye without sin…cast the first stone…
We all do what we have to do to keep love alive. If you have found something real, then you hang on to it at all costs.
